Low-Dose Naltrexone (LDN)
Opioid receptor antagonist (low-dose research)
Available as: 255mg
Overview
Naltrexone, an opioid antagonist approved at standard doses for alcohol and opioid dependence, studied at much lower doses.
Mechanism
At low doses it briefly blocks opioid receptors, which may raise endorphin signalling afterwards, and antagonises TLR4 on microglia, reducing neuroinflammation.
