Overview
Modified GRF 1-29 with a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC): a reactive group that binds covalently to serum albumin after administration.
Mechanism
Albumin binding extends the half-life to roughly 6 to 8 days, producing a sustained rise in GH and IGF-1 rather than discrete pulses.
Research highlights
- Teichman et al. 2006: single administrations in healthy adults raised GH for 6 days or more and IGF-1 for 9 to 11 days, in a dose-dependent way.
