CJC-1295 (no DAC)
GHRH analogue (Modified GRF 1-29)
Available as: 5mg, 10mg
Overview
A 29-amino-acid analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone. Four amino-acid substitutions protect it from rapid enzymatic breakdown compared with native GHRH(1-29).
Mechanism
Binds the GHRH receptor on pituitary somatotrophs, triggering growth hormone release. Its short half-life keeps GH release pulsatile, close to the natural pattern.
Research highlights
- Commonly studied together with ghrelin-receptor agonists such as ipamorelin, which act on a separate pathway and amplify the GH pulse.
- Without the DAC modification its half-life is about 30 minutes.
