Overview
An 11-amino-acid peptide modelled on the helix B region of erythropoietin.
Mechanism
Activates the innate repair receptor (an EPO receptor and CD131 complex) that mediates EPO's tissue-protective effects, without stimulating red blood cell production.

- Phase 2: improved neuropathic symptoms and corneal nerve fibre density in small fibre neuropathy linked to sarcoidosis.
