5-Amino-1MQ in oral capsule form. 5-amino-1-methylquinolinium, a small-molecule inhibitor of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT).
Mechanism
NNMT is highly expressed in fat tissue; inhibiting it raises cellular NAD+ and SAM levels and increases energy expenditure in fat cells.
